I'm not following advice lately, i'm just going with my instincts. I've been told to post once a week but that's not me, at least not right now. I think everything happens at the perfect time. I have periods where i'm extremely creative & the thoughts flow fluidly, I have periods where I'm silent & merely want to observe. Both are important.
~ Confirmed by the church bell ~
Right now the information, creativity, & downloads are flowing.
I feel called to talk about cleansing /fasting. It seems like a period of time for the collective to shed what is no longer serving & this definitely needs to be included into the physical body. Changing your diet isn't always enough or it triggers "ugly" agitated feelings.
Guess what? It's not supposed to be stressful. That's the opposite of what you want, for your spiritual, emotional, & physical bodies; this causes stagnancy or constipation because you're "going against the grain."
I mean, yes, discomfort is part of the process & there might be moments of big emotion or frustration but it is not supposed to be a constant.
We need to lose the "rule" mentality; one shoe does not fit all.
It's time to follow your own bodies intuition ~ It's time to trust yourself to know what's right for you.
The biggest part about fasting (aside from daily prayer/mediation) is that it helps you notice & cut out poor habits, & helps us become aware of places we neglect our health/ hygiene.
I've been taking my journal & morning mushroom coffee outside, feels like an upgrade to the routine. The sun kissing my face, the wind playing with my hair, the birds singing symphonies ~ how can this not start out the day right? My kids are getting grounding time with me & additionally some vitamin D. Life is good. And this is what I want to share with everyone. The simplicity. The purity. The easiness of a healthy life.
I recommend a total body detoxification. The Master Cleanse is my preference ~ do your own research, of course.
each individual drink is: 8oz water, 2 tbls pure grade maple syrup, 2 tbls lemon juice, 1/10 tsp Cayenne ~ drinking 6 to 8 cups a day.
overall, if you do it for 10 days, this is how much you'll need:
- 60-80 fresh lemons
- 2 quarts Maple Syrup (the darkest grade)
- 1/2 cup sea salt
- 10 gallons of good-quality Water
- 2 oz of Cayenne Pepper
Most people are very strict about no eating when you're on a cleanse. I've found for me personally this just doesn't fly. But eating the right food is important. Stick to nuts, seeds, berries, fruit, vegetables, salads ~ i mean honestly, as long as you're doing you're best to eat only what nature has provided I GAURENTEE you will see the difference, and avoid the majority of "the grumps"
If you can/feel called to do the strict full liquid cleanse by all means DO. Non caffeinated teas & water still are on the menu.
On a side note, sorta-kinda, i will also throw out my recommendation to incorporate Moringa into your daily diet. The health benefits are incredible. It has more vitamins & minerals in it than anything you're eating, i would bet. SO look it up if you're curious. See if it calls to you. Order some. I think it makes cleansing easier when you're still taking in a lot of nutrients. Again the point is not to struggle or suffer, quite the opposite. This is a process that helps you eliminate the factors of your life causing you disservice.
Cleansing also means getting rid of objects. You know what shouldn't be in your house, car, closet anymore.
You don't have to throw it away (unless you really think it's necessary) there are plenty of homeless shelters to donate to.
I realize I've been neglecting stretch & dance which is essential to my physical wellbeing.
I'm writing outside & the wind responded so strongly to that thought plus a ladybug came and landed on my journal ~ perhaps someone else needs the reminder to move their body.
Here I am, ending this entry by making a wish ~
